David Rosenthal Poet and Teacher

David Rosenthal's poems and translations have appeared in print and online in Rattle, HAD, Birmingham Poetry Review, Rust & Moth, The Rising Phoenix Review, Cosmic Daffodil, Teachers & Writers Magazine, Change Seven, The Alabama Literary Review, Measure, The Formalist, Unsplendid, Modern Haiku, Measure Review, Umbrella, and other journals. He has been a Pushcart Prize Nominee, a Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award Finalist, and a Soul-Making Keats Sonnet Prize winner. His collection, The Wild Geography of Misplaced Things was published by White Violet Press (Kelsay Books) in 2013. For twenty-three years, he has served as a public school teacher and instructional coach in the Oakland and Berkeley Unified School Districts.
